AUSTIN, Texas—US Market Development (USMDG) announces it has been engaged for a new management-consulting contract by a Chilean food manufacturer to help bridge the resource gap between Chile and the U.S. Phase one of the contract entails installing an appropriate industry expert to provide oversight and advance the project.

The project requires a seasoned professional with pet and/or food industry expertise to assist a Chilean canned fruit company develop a line of pet foods for domestic use and for export. Research & development experience is important, as are production planning and familiarity with FDA regulations regarding pet food products.
