Al Hamman is a former district sales manager, corporate director of marketing and ad agency executive with experience in a wide range of sales support services including advertising, channel marketing, direct mail, and public relations. Hamman’s approach to communication is focused on generating sales for clients.
With over 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, advertising and public relations, the projects with which Mr. Hamman has been involved run the gamut of professional marketing. From sales management and simple collateral material development assignments, to complete campaigns to develop and launch new products, Al has demonstrated an eagerness to roll up his sleeves and immerse himself in the tactical as well as the strategic aspects of campaign development, management and execution.
Hamman has worked with clients including The Original Ceylon Tea Company, Dell Computer, Mannington Flooring, Stockhausen Chemical, Wachovia Bank, Lisa’s Gourmet Snacks, and PGA Tour event promotion of the K-mart Greater Greensboro Open.
In addition to a traditional sales and marketing background, Al is also a graduate of The Player's Workshop of The Second City in Chicago, where he studied on-stage improvisation and creative writing.
A long time resident of Austin, Texas, in 2001 Al and his wife Ellen relocated to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northeastern Tennessee. And although business (and five grandchildren) frequently take Al back to Texas, these days you’re more likely to find him on the fairways, hiking trails, and trout streams of his new mountain home.
